Curtis Schaefer (Director/Principal Physiotherapist)

Curtis grew up on a farm in Grenfell, and completed a bachelor’s degrees in both Exercise and Sports Science and Physiotherapy through Charles Sturt University.

Curtis has a number of years of experience in treating sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, pre & post orthopaedic surgery and workplace injuries. Curtis has developed a professional interest in sports injuries and is passionate about increasing access to quality physiotherapy for those in the country.

Curtis has provided on field physiotherapy and injury management for both junior and senior sporting teams across a variety of sports. He has also completed further training in cervical spine and TMJ management and is eager to share his expertise with those closer to home.

Amy Schaefer (Director & Physiotherapist)

Amy was born and raised in Young and completed bachelor’s degrees though Charles Sturt University in both Exercise and Sports Science, and Physiotherapy, graduating with distinction.

Amy developed an interest in sports injury & strength and conditioning after completing a strength and conditioning internship with the Western Region Academy of Sport and working as a performance coach at Bathurst Strength & Conditioning.

Amy has also worked in a rotating position at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, gaining valuable experience in acute care, orthopaedic surgery and neurological rehabilitation. Amy has also completed post graduate study in clinical pilates and is currently progressing through her womens health physiotherapy training.
